Snappy Lunch

Snappy Lunch was mentioned on the Andy Griffith Show and Andy ate here as a young boy. Snappy Lunch is Mount Airy's oldest restaurant, circa 1923. Oprah Winfrey and the Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno have been visitors. The Snappy Lunch was featured in the November 1998 issue of Gourmet.

Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce and Mount Airy Visitors Center

The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce promotes the greater Mount Airy area including all of Surry County. The Chamber offers a step-on-tour guide service for visiting groups.The Mount Airy Visitors Center is now located in the Chamber Building.

Siamese Twins Burial Site

The original Siamese twins, Eng and Chang Bunker, are buried outside the Mount Airy city limits in the White Plains Church community.
